Coming from a family of nearly 40 family members, I've grown up with hearty Nicaraguan cuisine.
The variety in the flavors and colors is rooted by the necessity of delivering delightful flavors out of humble ingredients, coupled with the economic problems to establish a cuisine made of effort and ingenuity.
I have witness the creation of magnificent dishes that gives me the proof to say that there's nothing like the Nicaraguan Taste, and now my project is to share my roots to everyone.
After living outside Nicaragua for nearly 3 years I had to adapt Nicaraguan cuisine in the seek of reaching the same authentic flavors.

Me encanta su blog porque me ayudo en mi busqueda de recetas Nica. Servi alli 18 meses de 2011-Abril 2013. Me gustaria que pudiera cambiar el font porque es un poco dificil leer. Tambien creo que sus recetas son muy buenas. Solo me gusta mas con el arroz para freir el arroz crudo primero y luego agregar el agua. Solo eso, pero bien hecho. Espero ver mas recetas. Tal vez uno para pico, nacatamal, yotamal, enchilada, tacos, fritanga, etc.!! A mi me encanta la comida nica!!

Ultimamente como podes ver no he publicado nada pero planeo volver pero es mas o menos dificil por que no he tenido mucho tiempo para el blog, aunque siempre trato de chequear por si alguien escribe algo o cosas asi. Al respecto de las recetas a mi me encantaria poner muchas mas recetas pero hay que tener en cuenta de que en donde vivo (Bergen, Noruega) es casi imposible de encontrar los ingredientes de algunas recetas nicas, pero de todas formas me agrada que te guste la cocina nica :) y espero que te sirvan las recetas que estan en el blog
